Over its 24 year history, the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program has fostered and celebrated business excellence among privately held Canadian companies. Each year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for the designation in a comprehensive application process focused on four key evaluative pillars: strategy, capability, commitment and financial performance. The all-encompassing approach means winners are selected and recognized for the efforts of the entire organization. Best Managed companies are invited to celebrate their success at an annual symposium and gala in Toronto. Following its success in Canada, the Best Managed program has been adopted by Mexico, Ireland and the Netherlands and soon to be additional countries, building an international network of industry leaders.
