Dr. Jennifer Pearlman is a medical doctor with a focused practice in the area of women’s health and wellness. She is a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP) certified by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and spent a decade in practice at the Menopause Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Pearlman has been awarded a focus practice designation by the Ontario Medical Association to enable her to work as an expert consultant to other physicians in the area of women’s health.

Dr. Pearlman has cultivated an expertise in the art and science of cosmetic medicine, taking a holistic approach to rejuvenation of the face and body based on the belief that beauty comes from within. Dr. Pearlman has helped train other physicians in cosmetic injection technique and regularly attends cosmetic medical meetings to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies. She has had the opportunity to work and train with leading experts in this field across North America.

Striving to create a medical skin care line that was both highly effective but also clean, Dr. Pearlman created The PearlMD Skin CareRx line to provide pharmaceutical grade skin-active ingredients, but without potentially harmful chemicals, to lighten, brighten, and revitalize the skin.

Jeff King is responsible for strategy, licensing, distribution, international,  information technology and corporate planning. He is accountable for SOCAN’s revenue and expense management for key operations. Since joining SOCAN in 2001, Jeff has held a number of senior positions throughout the organization and lead initiatives that significantly heightened member and licensee satisfaction. As Vice President of Licensing, Jeff developed a robust strategic plan to expand SOCAN’s customer base and increase efficiency. As Vice President of Membership, Jeff led the development of a number of industry-leading e-commerce tools and the creation of SOCAN’s Information Centre. Prior to joining SOCAN, Jeff was Vice President of Underwriting at Old Republic Insurance Company and helped to lead that organization from industry laggard to industry leader within 3 years. Jeff holds an BA Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University and has been keynote speaker at several international conferences on innovation and free-trade.

John also sits on the Canuck Place Hospice Society Board of Directors.
